Masser and co will not be coming back to any of my days again.

bad circuit manners and I are not happy bed fellows - I was just about to come down and see the Masser guy and take him off, but he saved me a job - I have a good mind to bill him for the downtime - if you work it out, the circuit was costing us around £3.5k an hour and he owes me around half of that for taking away our pleasure.

It was all my fault though - everytime we have an incident it is always some tool that has just turned up on the day and I am eager for the money in the tin - not any more though, i'll not fall for that one again. It's the same with shared cars - one extra driver is fine but thats it, i'm not letting a car out that has several drivers.

Glad you all had fun

See you at Oulton maybe?

Novice badges are fine in principle but no one ever takes them off - some new guys are well on the pace by lunchtime and then they end up with all the circuit because the rest of us are hanging back.

Some guys have been lots of times and still don't get the line - how do you discriminate?

If they have a novice badge and are on the pace not a problem, the alternative is hanging back for everyone which is what I was doing, if they are not novices you can make a judgement call to pass based on room, position, conditions. As long as you indicate also.

Just my 2p, although everyone is different I recently enjoyed a Pistenclub day with overtaking both sides. I used my mirrors and not a problem, everything flowed really well.

Oh and Nissan GTR's rewrote the rule book on lines
