Oil change

Did an in between service oil change at the weekend with new filter,put in 5.5L but the dash is only showing +4.Does it usually take a bit more than 5.5L,or should i leave it as it is.

5.5 is correct prob a dodgy sensor. Best to check with dipstick. Do not overfill!!!
