Regards road tyres, if you plan on doing the odd track day then i would recommend Michelin PS2. PS2s will happily be pushed on track and hold their own.

But it is essential to have the camber mod carried out first IMO.

One dry track day and my O/S front Mich PSIII was completely fooked!

LoL not quite! I have however fitted Cups and had the camber adjusted. That'll do for this year at least.

Well, for better or for worse, I have a couple of PS2s now on the rear.

Anyway, also got the car back within 24 hours. The caliper is changed, and have new disks and pads on the front. Parts came to almost £700, so warranty proved itself useful for someone not so handy with a spanner.
