Default %$&*! Car Tax!!!!

Obviously I was aware of the rises in Car Tax that are due to be inflicted on us next year, but I did not realise that in April 2010 there is a second rise due!!!!

Have just used this useful link, and I am shocked with 2010!!!

With this new legislation the government are taking the pi** , the motorists in this country get shafted good style.

For a minute there I thought you were going to say the tax was going up to some £1000+. I know new cars have this to deal with but it's bad enough at £455.
Will it make me lose the CSL - not a chance of it. Governments are playing on it of course. Running one of these cars incurs far greater costs as I'm sure everyone here knows but it is a yet another kicking the motorist gets.

Isn't there discussions in Parliment at the moment about changing this. Something about it should only be on people who buy new cars from now......could be wrong though.
