Default Replacing front discs

First of all, sorry for my poor english


1. Good lighting





2. Good tools




3. Torque wrench (from 5 to 20 Nm)




4. Before

















Discs removed without dismounting the caliper















Cleaning the bells






New disc, PFB





Preparing the bells





Introducing discs



New bolts (AP replacement kit)







Applying rust protection

I was taught not to spray the hub where the bell mounts as it can cause slight run out issues.

Good write/picture up none the less.

Them AP's look like they have certainly been used in anger

Good write up - thanks for taking the time to do this

One question: do the replacement nuts/bolts require threadlocking with Loctite or similar?

I never have with no issues Rob, but make sure you dont over tighten them.

great write up escarolo ..... just one thing missing .... a tea break mate ! we are English after all !!

My stepson and daughter are moving to Madrid on Friday, she works for Sleazyjet, will look you up when i next visit mate !! ....we can do afternoon tea !

And for the visit, it would be better an afternoon beer but I will be in Bucharest on Friday
