I'd love to be only paying £245 to tax my M3. Over here, we're charged €1,566 to tax any cars over 3.0 for the year

, or €2,000 if based on the new emissions based tax system.

Glad I just got 12 months on mine...mild sense of satisfaction that I avoided the increase

Car tax = SCAM (just like every other tax...lol)

Crikey that's terrible, had heard it was pricey over there but that's a lot..

Have heard similar (or more) for other european countries, maybe we're actually getting off lightly (especially with the band K business for now)...
