I saw these 18s on PH yesterday and was going to take them but had second thoughts. I run R888s (245/ 265) and are a great fast road/ track tyre IMO. Paid £600 a set. Heat up quick but do seem to go off quick too though, but then I do need to compare them to the Cups which I will be testing shortly in the new season.

It's pretty well documented both here and elsewhere that R888s aren't the ultimate track tyre for the M3 or CSL.
Michelin PSC are the most expensive but they are supposed to be the best and i go with majority opinion when it comes to choices like that for track days - i have certainly had good experience with PSC and justify the extra £££ over lesser tyres whether 19" or otherwise imho ![]() I also use Michelin PS2 as my road tyres for similar justification as they can also cope with some track abuse and are a safe bet when the track day is a wet one. ![]() Tyres are one area that i want the best for my CSL... ![]()

It was indeed. Intrax suspension and APs alround meant that the DZ02 were excellent. Dropped the pressures to 25 psi so they rose to 33 psi hot giving no understeer and excellent stability under brakes (left them on least camber with the adj top mounts, so guessing -1.5 degrees?) They were rear M3 rims alround but Hazy has them now! Going with cups for the few trackdays I get to do! |

Camskill Medium comp £153 - 235/40/18, £158 - 265/35/18 total - £622 delivered. Got puncture on a 1x 235 so replaced with 2x new 245s. Taking into account brought March-April 09, prices have rocketed!
