Default Raj, you won't accept PMs!

Yes you can Raj.

The std e46 M3 would come with 18" as std or 19" as an option. The CSL then came with 'CSL' alloys or as a no cost option, the M3 19"s.

The tyres will change height to achieve the same absolute distance from centre of the wheel to outer edge etc, but any of the three types of rim will fit either an e46 M3 or CSL.

The only drama comes when you fit rear wheels to the front for extra grip to combat understeer. That said, mine work fine and I know personnally someone who fitted 19" rear CSL rims all round on his CSL. To answer your specific question, a std set of M3 18" fitted with road tyres or slicks (18" allow a good choice of trackday tyres or slicks) will fit a e46 M3 CS without any dramas. Go for it!

Cheers

I notice you've only got the rear (9.5") on your car even at the front.
Is it possible to put a normal stock set of 18s on the CS/CSL? (18x8 and 18.9)

Cheers,
Raj
