Don't do DS2500s!!!
Pagid RS29s all around for max on track performance. Pagid also have the newer RS5 Ceramic Blue compound available for the AP calipers. Going by the spec sheet, it has a very usable temp range and may be a good pad for fast road and track use (nb, I have no personal experience of these yet) http://www.racepads.co.uk/pagid_rs5.htm |

The kits come complete with braided hoses which cant be used with anything else as AP's run banjo bilt fixings so if you upgrade the rears bear that in mind. Front only kits do make the car dive more but depend on how hard you use the brakes. The CSL Cup Alcons are a big step up from AP's so does depend on what you use the car for. Agree with Ade that RS2500 are more for road and light track if you drive harder on the brakes or do more than a couple of track days a year then RS29's are better. We've tried a few other pads over the years and keep coming back to RS29's, they are still top dog.

Chrs for the replies, so do you pad flippers (i.e. between road/race) clean the discs between diff types of pad?

I swapped from DS2500s to RS29s on the same discs recently with no issues.
