Carbon flippers and rear exhaust surround
Hi Guys
So I've had my CSL for 11 years, sat in garage for last 3 but have taken it this week to BMW for service / MOT. I asked BMW for availability/ cost of front flipper replacement and same for rear. Both carbon front and rear is pitted and delaquered in places. There are no cracks etc just untidy delaquered appearance. What is the consensus of opinion/ hive mind on best way forward? Can you get the originals refinished / relaquered? Or best to buy new and if so aftermarket (Vorsteiner etc) or OEM? Need both front and back carbon bits sorted. Any advice much appreciated. I have read the recent thread where ?Mark has sourced new front flippers, I am a total purist so would love OEM repalcements but MK2 are not so good? Thanks in advance Alastair |
