Flap not working

Hi - it seems the flap on the snorkel no longer works for me after going with a manual conversion. When the flap motor goes, does that usually throw a code?

Trying to figure out if my manual conversion screwed things up. Appreciate any input from the community here. Thanks!!

I think the car is complaining for making it a manual !
You made it slower, so it says - let me reduce the power further.


Joking aside, yes it should throw an error.
Usually the TPS goes bad and less usually the actuator motor.

I think I?m with you on that. I do miss the SMG, especially the downshifts on the track.

What error code would I expect to see?

It will say about the flap being inactive / having an issue.
