Default Airbox Flap Actuator

Airbox flap not working.

I've had the flap out - but now I've put it back. It's not working. I have a replacement actuator.

There are two plugs that are the same, one goes to the side of the airbox the other to the actuator. The one to the airbox is showing 5v no matter what the sport mode setting is. The other shows zero whether sport mode is on or not. I could have mixed them up but I don't think so.

I've checked the glovebox fuses but there's nothing showing directly for the flap actuator. I checked the three engine ones and they're ok. I didn't check those bits and bobs near the salmon relay.

Anyone know what I need to do? Seems no power going to the actuator?

(I have Inpa)

The one to the airbox is for the temp sensor.
Therefore sport mode has no influence on it.

How did you notice that its not working?
Just to make sure the flap normally opens around 6000rpm and in sportmode around 3000. So while stationary sport mode has no effect
on the flap.

I am not sure on this, but i would think that the connector only leads voltage when its actually opening/closing the flap. Why would it when its doing nothing?

Do you have DIS aswell? I'm told it lets you open/close the flap while stationary. (Not came across this function yet)

Thanks for this, I didn't realise the flap was closed early in the rev range - I'll test and see if it's working. Thanks again.
