Rust around the windows

What was the outcome of the poster who had the rust around his windows? I have seen some rusty colouring around the bottom of the front window just above the black trim.

I remember seeing the post a while ago and looked throught some of the posts that came up under the search facility under rust but cannot seem to find it. Am I right in saying BMW pooh poohed the claim.
