I'd noticed this on mine when I first purchased a few years back, found the rear springs broken so replaced them. I've recently had the NS arms replaced and thought this may be the reason it sits slightly higher on this side but hay ho I'm happy if peeps are saying this is common.
Oh and my 91 e30 sport sits the same so it may just be a BMW thang
