Default CSL Front Seat Sponge

Hi all

may have been covered before, as there was a big thread on here once, but looking on the BMW parts

http://bmwfans.info/parts-catalog/E4..._s_seat_cover/

Is this part just the cover, or does it contain the sponges, as I need to get my seat plushed up again, as the frame is starting to eat into my leg, and its a paid as I drive the dar most days.

ant advice would be appreciated

cheers

John

No the foam is stuck to the seat it comes as 1 unit from recaro

any good upholster place should be able to cut you a part and just stick it in with spray glue

seat with cover removed looks like this

These people might be able to source you the requisite foam padding, if that's the problem. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-e46-M3...item4acd941ae5

I'd try capital seating in the UK - they are a licensed Recaro dealer I believe and can access these pieces I believe??

But as Mark said, they are just generic seat foam ... any good Upholstery place can replace it.

he he... whats the bet they took that apart to make some templates. May be a good place to get a replacement set of covers in the future.
