Is this a front bumper off job?
Hi,
I need a new one of these, which I believe is called a 'Grid', does anyone know if the front bumper will have to come off to fit it? Many thanks Peter |

Depends if your old one is off, they just clip in but I think you would need to take your bumper off to remove the old one, if it's in.

Option, get some tin snips, cut your old one out if it's still in, this will let you unclip the clips easily, then push new one on. Any better |

Bumper isn't difficult to take off, and to be honest, would be my option. You want to make sure you've the new grid secured in place properly prior to any hooning antics.

Only a northerner would know how to steal things off a stationary car. (and scousers and mancs of course)

Thank you. The old one is off, not good, am waiting for the new one to arrive from BMW on Friday. Tip, these are £35 from BMW and £60 odd on-line.

I did mine with the bumper on the car years ago, didn't take long but can be a bit fiddly.
If you have the time to take the bumper off then it would make life easier, but it can be done with the bumper still on the car. |

Bumper is only 6 bolts, the clips can be ready fiddly so I'd just take it off
