Lucas if your over in Germany today / tomorrow mate, def drop in and see benny at Reader Motorsport, get them to have a look, check set up as they've done mine over the years.

You can go too extreme / track focused on the CSL and it will not feel as stable under normal driving conditions.

My first change from std was just KW V3s with fast road set up, which was by far the best all road most planted and ideal for what I wanted it for as a daily driver and track use.

As I moved to clubsports with hand built race inners and springs it was as you described more or less, twitchy and less stable.

The more track focused you are the better the tyres need to be, if for example I was running slicks on the race set up it would be perfect and on the V3s with cups the same.

If I get back into a CSL ever again it's going on V3s / AP's and Cups and that's it.

If it's set up for toe in on the aggressive camber and you move the camber to less aggressive it will toe in even more.

When a car tries to turn on its own and does not try to self centre, toe in is usually the cause.

Simpsons are undoubtably great, but mistakes can and do happen, we are all only human. Just get the geo checked.

Tyres won't cause the above.

Exactly but just meant the more aggressive / track set up you have you need more grip to ensure the capability of the suspension matches the grip levels from tyres to get the best out of the suspension set up.

Cheers lads. It was the castor set to less than standard that made the car unstable and basically scary to drive. I dialled in a load more and enjoyed the day at Pap, back in the UK now.

Will give Simpsons a call Tuesday, odd that they didn't set this up at the same time.
