Spend last night thinking about cars and now decided to keep GTR and going to sell CSL. will be for sale in a couple of weeks. Will advertise it properly when its ready, car has 56k miles , 3 prev owners, FBWSH, BMW warranty. Car will be standard and original paintwork except bumper which I plan to respray before selling. I really don't use the csl enough it was only out half a dozen times last year. Will be looking for E36/46 track car to have some fun in ioer the summer and use GTRas daily in summer/ mondeo in winter.

It's a tough one that sometimes Derek I regret selling mine sometimes, but again it meant I was also able to scratch the GT3 box and current work situation meant that had to go or I would of been still in that, think the CSL will always be and feel special once you have had one, I used mine every day so whilst I really did enjoy it everyday, it's also nice to to try other newer toys, might have another one day but if not I've enjoyed the 4/5 years ownership experience. I'm sure whatever you decide to do will be the best for what your needs are

Greetings from Austin, Texas. No good barbecues, cold beer, great music and cheeky women here, honest.
Having sold my GTR (for £1k less than I bought it!), I can say that I do miss it a little. It's devastatingly fast and as a driving experience, takes a lot of learning, which is fun. I agree with Derek - after the Litchfield mods, it's night and day compared to the standard car. I had a burn up with a C63 AMG on a quiet night on the M1 and the GTR absolutely destroyed it. Having said that, an example exactly like this was parked outside my hotel this morning, and I got a serious itch. |

I had offers of the asking price for GTR but can bring myself to sell it. There is so much performance for the money. The C63 is a different class of car had a test drive in one and its a great place to be in, bit like new M5. I'm keeping GTR as I will use it as a daily, never could bring myself to use csl for daily hence 28k in 7 years. CSL will be up for sale soon, will be a sad day, ideally do part ex for track E46 smg
