Found water on the new micro filter
I washed the Csl today. Though I'd check what pollen filter BMW fitted last week at oil service.
New Bmw filter fitted but a little wet underneath the centre wiper arm on the filter. A little bit of seal is hanging down from above. Can the wiper scuttle panel be removed with taking the screen out ? Can the seal be replaced ? Has anyone else had this problem ?

I've removed the wiper panel located behind the bonnet. The seal is missing and perished in a lot of places. It appears that when I washed the car the water that runs down the screen under the wiper panel was getting past the seal and onto the pollen filter.
I'll have to buy a new panel as the seal looks to be hot sprayed on. It'll be a easy fit and cost approx £48 for the part from BMW. If any has has a new screen fitted id recommend getting a new panel at the same time. As it has to come of for new screen fitment. This would cause condensation inside the car as the heaters would be sucking in moist air. 51718232896 part no. For windscreen wiper panel Hope this helps
