Today - yes. Long-term-future - i'd say look at some of the previous low-build 'specials' Porsche has produced. Who'd of thought 10-20 years ago 73RS's would be one day £300k!, 964RS's £100k (and rising), etc etc. Of course, the bubble might burst, but i think certain cars like RS's and Ferrari's 'race' models will always be good long-term investments.

Air cooled Porsche have done very well. 996RS's can still be bought for circa £60k, same sort of price as E30 M3 Sport Evo's from 13 years prior. & the 6RS was twice the cost of the E30. It is a lottery to an extent, and also about easy money. And racing history. |

Give them more time - it's still the current RS model so to speak. As has already been said, it's the last of the analogue cars so it will start to appreciate in the next 3 to 5 years. Watch this space.

Looking back over some old Porsche magazines and this was for sale in 2006 - with an engine rebuild too! These are over 100k now
