It looks the same as on the new 7 i have could be bmw take the key along to a bmw garage and they can sell you a new key

Yes pop along to dealer with your locking nut key and they will supply you with the same 1. Take one of your locking bolts so they can check its the right one. They should have a master set in the workshop.
Or the key will have a number stamped on, or have a sticker in the box with the key number.

Phew got it sorted...

Managed to get hold of a reverse threaded socket, knocked it on with a copper headed heavy hammer, impact / air gun till it bit into the locker, then long breaker bar and off it came relatively easily.

Stud kit now on, looks fugly but hey makes life changing wheels over much easier!
