Default Desperate for a new Starter motor - Now I have 2. One For Sale

Not really a for sale add, more a note to let people know I have one available to anyone who needs it be it tomorrow, a weeks time, or indeed a few months time.

As most that were on the Munich trip will know, my starter packed in and with tonnes of help from Roland, Machinno and a big player that was at the Airstrip on the Monday (I forgot his name but have his car at home) we managed to source one in Munich for me to collect and take to my car that was left in Italy awaiting arrival of a starter from Varenna. I worked out I could lift the starter in Munich on Tuesday, drive to where my car was in Lecco, Italy and maybe have it fitted that afternoon.

Didn't work out that way, got it the next day and by the time I got the Italy, they had received their one from Varenna, fitted and car was ready to go. I didn't care that I'd spend £400 on a starter, I just wanted to back on the road in my CSL.

So, I now have this brand new starter motor, still wrapped in its plastic in the box available to fellow members when needed.

Its not CSL specific, a generic E46 M3 including CSL starter motor. Part number I don't have on me since I'm offshore. Or hang on... 7835735 is the number I have on my phone given to me by the Italian dealer and used to purchase the part.

I will of course include the receipt so you can claim the £60 back when the old starter is returned. It was 60Euros when bought in Munich but £60 back here in the UK and I'm assuming they'll accept that it was bought in Munich and refund the £60.

Looking for £300 including delivery.

Many thanks to Thomas (Man with M6 at BMW Driving Experience in Germany) and Roland, I successfully returned my 'extra' starter motor and received a full refund. I had to pay for postage, about £30 but it was certainly worth it to get over £300 back.
