Thanks for the advice ,looked into Simpsons and its 160miles so courier for the bumper maybe the only way forward as the car is only limping at the moment and may not last that distance .Does any of you guys know where I can get the other parts from ? Thanks for your offer in sending Karbonkid ,I might get bumper off tomoz and speak to Simpsons Tuesday ready for posting to them .Do you have sg csl with black wheels as I spotted one on the A3 on Saturday ?

Looks identical to what I done a few years ago. My dad repaired it and we had it professionally painted, still looks 100%.

New bumper £2700 if I remember correctly.

Default That's definitely repairable...

I've now had two csl bumpers repaired. Both were in way worse condition then yours. This last time when i had a girl side swipe me, my insurance coughed up for a new one for me. So i actually lucked out with my insurance, and i don't even own a real csl. The only thing my insurance made me get was additional coverage for future events at list prices of all the oem csl parts i have on my car. If you go through insurance, don't throw out your old bumper as it can be easily repaired. The damaged bumper could still fetch over 2,000 usd. I personally will be listing a reparied oem csl bumper for sale in the next month, as its at the body shop getting patched up. My asking price will be 2,600 usd for the bumper with splitters, asa bolts, brackets, and washer bottle. So good luck with your repair, or purchase of a new one.

List price of new bumper last i checked which was two months ago now was £3781.00 gbp

Thanks for the advice chaps .Still waiting for a quote from Simpsons and if it's not to pricey will probably post bumper to them and re-fit my self as it was very easy to remove .Owned this CSL for 2years now and had no other drama except a slight leak to diff so it's been pretty cheap motoring and they appear to be holding there value well obviously pending mileage /condition .

Not not me. I did do last year but now running a different wheel/ colour + I've only been out in it once this year and that was locally for an oil service + other bits doing. Never seen another around my neck of the woods before.

If you get stuck, I can give you the contact details of my carbon guy - he could effect any repairs to perfection - here is an example of what he does:
