Thanks guys for your replies thus far.
Just got back home and the plot thickens. It looks like it the car has had 35 profiles on the back since before 2008!

Checking bills and invoices, it looks like Conti 265/35/19 have been the tyre size of choice for this Cesil. Certainly over the last two sets of rears.

Any ideas as to why this choice when compared to 30 profile boots?

Fronts are 235/35/19 so pukka for a CSL.

Mine had 255's on the rear when I got it.... and for some unknown reason that annoyed me lol

so did mine as standard size from factory was 225/35 and 255/30 on MPS1 and 235/45 and 265/30 MPSCup.

so i think technically if you compain you might end up with 255 on the back

Mine had standard size M3 fitment 225 & 255 PS2's fitted when I bought it (which I didn't notice until I got it home) Couldn't live with that so had to change them the next day

take 5psi out the tyres and they will be a 30 profile. Hope your enjoy your new toy Dean!!
