There were always some limited editions (e.g. Club Italia, Hi-Fi, Lagos, Bianco Perlato, Dealers Collection, Giallo etc) but there was always a certain mystique about that car, did it or did it not really exist. The only photos of that car up till recently were lovely looking shots taking near what looked like a coal pit! Last edited by HFLagos; 25-01-2013 at 11:50 PM. |

A friend of mine has a Club Italia & a Club Lancia, both in spectacular condition - a very rare pair of Evo that have increased in value by some margin now. |

Evo looks mega in Giallo Fly, White or Red.
Hard to believe they only. C.210 bhp and now usurped by clios these days. Escort cosworth the same - 20 years ago it looked like a intergalactic UFO. Now (standard) it wouldn't frighten a regular hot hatch. Bonkers |

and speaking of Clios:
I think we all have the same kind of idea of what is a fun car to drive a little chavy, from a nowadays point of view, isn`t it? Last edited by ChrisCSL; 26-01-2013 at 01:56 PM. |

That Evo looks like a beast! The dashboard layout and controls bring back a few memories. Am sure the Clio was a hoot too.
Can't really think of any present day hot hatches which truly appeal. Yanto's comments though are spot on in terms of how today's hot hatches would give an Evo a rather humbling lesson, but I try and ignore that reality!! Since the Evo, the CSL is the first car I've had which has made me feel as good. |
