The old 'Bremi' coils were notorious for breaking down for no reason, compared with the uprated Bosch items they were weak.

To be fair though, my old E46 M3 had Bremi's in for over 90k miles and they were fine, but I had two Bremi's fail on my CSL last year so replaced the lot with the Bosch ones.

I can get a set of Bosch coils and a set or iridium plugs for £150 so I'll just do the lot...

That's a good question Al. Mine is still running on the Original OEM BREMI CPs without any issues at all. During a recent "Inspection 1" Gareth didn't mention anything untoward either.
Having previously read about BOSCH replacement I thought about swaping over but you know the saying "If it ain't broken... don't fix it"
Having said that I always carry a couple of spare coil packs (just in case) they finally start playing up It would be interesting to know the full story.

That is a decent price if that's including VAT and the plugs are NGK IRIDIUM

IIRC the OEM M3 CSL plugs are Iridium, labelled as BMW part but most likely made buy NGK, Bosch or BERU

Can get em for £129 if I just add them to a stock order (which is what I'll do as I'm not paying courier charges as I'm not desperate tbh)

Cheers anyway.
