Default M/t csl

I know, I know,

it'll not be a message that welcome by most of you here. but during my modification of a std. M3 to a CSL (as closely as possible), i just can't deny that converting a CSL from SMG to M/T may be a bit easier (of course the 1st difficult task is to find a CSL in Hong Kong).

can't find something relevant on the web except a youtube video of a Japanese racer who did the conversion. anyone here has read thru anything related?

Wrong, way harder to turn a CSL into mt vs a standard M3 - this is because BMW never made a manual version of the CSL so you can't flash the modules properly.

As far as I am aware it can't be done so as to function like a factory car, unless you downgrade the CSL DME (but why would you??) to a manual M3 CS (custom map the DME or turn it into Alpha N and ditch the MAP sensor) and use the DSC unit from a manual 2005 M3 CS and custom tune the motor.

The CSL DME don't have the ability to flash a manual box program and related DSC module.

Alternatively, you could always run motec M800.
