Default diff back lash?

i know its gonna be hard to describe on here but whats a normal amount of back lash in a new diff and also a slightly used/worn diff?

New diff next to no backlash , used depends on how its been driven , ofcourse you all drive nice and steady on here so all fine , hard to give a measurement as do it by feel and noise .

cheers giraffe, just been over it to check everythings in order as on track again next week. only thing i could notice was a bit of back lash so wanted reassuring. no noises ect just prop moves roughly 1" before taking up bite.
