Thinking back now, I remember a mate who had a 1.0l Nova SALOON no less put £4 in. I still give him grief about it, but as you said it was back in the day when he was a student. So maybe I should've just shut up, but it was embarrassing at the time.

i was 15 at the time, buying cars for a few hundred quid, driving around with no tax or insurance- the good old days! my first car was a 1.6 nova hatchback funnily enough. great car, at the time that is.
