AP's cracking the discs is very common on the Evo forums, PF discs are superior and not as likely to crack. There was a rumour that AP had a rogue casting of discs, but seen as i've cracked two sets of 332mm and one set of 362mm discs i dont believe it. Heres a write up i did on the PF 01 pads - you can see how the heat has stressed the discs halfway down the thread. Those marks then turn into small cracks which then turn into bigger cracks to the point its risky running them any longer. http://www.lancerregister.com/showthread.php?t=167960 Eventually they will do this, and this guy was only running DS2500 so how on earth he managed to crack this is beyond me ... http://www.lancerregister.com/showthread.php?t=159910 I dont mean to put a downer on your new brakes, just showing you what could potentially happen, hopefully it wont ![]()
