Engine light just came on
Driving at about 40 mph on a digi speed camera ridden A428, the engine shaped yellow light (not the EML light) just came on out of the blue
 . In the handbook it says "Exhaust emission values have deteriorated. Please arrange for the problem to be examined by BMW Service." Could this be yet another Lambda Probe ?  The car already had one of these under warranty @ 39 000 in 2006. Is this a common fault ?
