Default Best Day ever on four wheels

Hi guys, recently got back from the 187 annual Euro Tour, didnt use my CSL but I thought I would share with you anyway

This years 187 Euro tour took in Reims (old race circuit too) Annecy, Chamonix (man that cable car is HIGH) St Bernadino pass to Bormio (at the base of the Stelvio pass) then up to Saltzburg via the stelvio, Leonhardo and Glossglockner passes, on to the Porsche factory, finishing at the Nurburgring for three days for the Geram F1.

5 Strads, M3, 993TT, 997GT3, a brand new 997C4S and an Audi, I mean Gallardo. An epic trip but the run from Bormio was the best drive I have ever had in my life...... and Ive done some good stuff!!

It had poured it down all night the night before in Bormio, at the base of the pass, I went to bed early and got up first at 6.30 to be greeted by bright sunshine and dry roads. This was to be the best days driving I had EVER experienced. We washed the cars, had breakfast and set off. The stelvio pass has to be one of the most iconic driving roads ever, we had done it before, but as we reached the summit, it was white over, and right at the top, the road was reduced to two grooves in deep slushy snow. I couldnt really see if the pass had been cleared, but there were people everywhere, cameras were going and I knew I had to go for it against my passengers advice. It turned out to be a good shout, the pass was clear, and after a couple of miles, dry. Epic road followed epic road, stelvio, St Leonhardo pass, then the jewel in the crown in Austria, the Glossglockner pass. THE best 29 euro I have ever spent, no traffic, smooth roads (but somewhat slippy) and views like you cant believe. The pics dont do it justice. We finally arrived in Saltzburg around 7pm, tired but elated from a driving day we will possibly never repeat. The videos from that day are here...

hope you enjoy the pics, included some from Reims for those of you who aint seen the place before
