engine number

i'm looking to the engine type number in order to register my car in France.....i'have searching everywhere i can (so this is nearly nowhere, cause there is to much anciliaries, or i need a mini camera if i don't want to dismantle the car to reach this number).

i know the engine number (written on the V5

), but i need the type number

please help

(a french beer or a redbull or a kitkat- to drink in the nurburgring on the 2nd and 3rd of may- for the winner)
