BMW Southampton have paid in a way but not for the bodywork because they are saying the rust was already there before they took procession of the car.

They paid for new brake discs,calipers and pads front and rear and new suspension on the rear ,also a new battery.because the car was sat in one position for several months.

Can't you claim on the 12 year anti corrosion warranty. Mine goes in next week for a rear wheel arch
