AP BBK problem

Hi guys just wondering if any of you AP owners have experienced a rattling sound from the rear brakes which goes away when applying the brakes? This is driving me nuts. Have just replaced rear hub bushes thinking that was the culprit as there was a bit of play but the problem is still there. I have standard discs on the rear with ap calipers and ferrodo ds2500 pads. Could the pads be rattling inside the calipers? Any advice appreciated!
