Default Tyre (specifically Pirelli) Confusion!

Hello all,

So after much searching, weighing up options, reading opinions, measuring rolling circumferences etc I have decided that the desired sizes, are indeed, the standards:

235 35 19
265 30 19

OK, so now to which brand. More searching and reading.

Mostly road, 2-3 track days out of them (hopefully), where to start. Cross off cups on price and the fact I need Rain grip. PS2? Maybe.

Lets have a look at Pirelli. Jesus, how confusing? Even there website makes no sense with each description just a bunch of marketing worlds in different orders.

http://www.pirelli.com/tyre/gb/en/ca...Content/p_zero

P Zero Silver - has been conceived for drivers who enjoy performance and use their cars frequently
P Zero Rosso -ensures the optimum balance between comfort and performance
P Zero Nero - the ideal tyre for “soft” and “hard tuning” conversions
P Zero - has been developed for all, top of the range, supersports and high powered vehicles

Then you go to Camskill to select some and it gets even harder

Can someone simplify it for me? Or do I just throw a dart a a dart board?

As an aside.....

I love Bridgstone RE050's, had them on the recent Pork, because they have hard side walls and sharp turn in, compromised by harsher ride. Cant seem to find them in these sizes? Anyone tried them on a CSL? Anything comparable?

Goodyear F1's? PS2's?

Cheers
