Front springs sat correctly?

Front springs sat correctly?

While removing my skirts yesterday

I noticed the below on the front O/S Strut...

Looking at the N/S after and it's similar. Never had front suspension work before (in 5 years) and had the wheels off hundreds of time before, why have I not noticed this before?

Do they need to be turned or are they sat ok? Warranty job as I'll have to remove the strut?
