... so uprated pads, hoses and fluid are just a little bit better than stock brake set up, Nathan? I think it is a massive improvement in terms of resistance to fade, over stock brakes.

By better tyres i meant something like Michelin SS etc. these clearly are the best road tyre. Competition tyres would be cups, p zero corsa etc. OP is asking for pointers so clearly is a novice driver.

E46CSL is talking stock set up and advises a novice driver to use more throttle and less brakes.
