Triggers Broom... the saga continues

Started broom this morning... battery light flashing !

... think right alternator fooked.. but timing is about right as my car hasnt been into Murketts for almost a week now !
Then ... I hear subtle noises from under tut bonnet ... mmmm.. im hoping Alternator bearings perhaps collapsed ... nope ... faint rumble to top end of engine when just blipping and loading engine everso slightly.
So .... onto trailer and away it has gone

Vanos perhaps? ..could be a number of things I suppose.
