Just checked my mileage after exactly 2 months to the day and I have racked up 1860 !

much of which was out to Ring and return, plus the odd little steady 13 mile cruise through the Fatherland !... oh and the Belgian forests of course ! ... not forgetting the flat wastelands of Bedfordshire. I have just asked for an Insurance quote on basis of 5k per year, same ppl as you are with Shim...mmm... methinks a requote is in order !
