My Summer holiday - to the Ring!

Just back from a week away - mainly at the Ring with the missus and baby Charlotte!

Thought i'd post mini-write-up and a few pics from the week:

The CSL proves again to be remarkably adaptable and practical carrying two adults, baby, plus loads of luggage & baby related stuff - it even doubled as a baby changing station!


Overnight stay in Bruges, Belgium. Nice place - worth a visit.




The Ring proved to be one of the better weekends i have been to due to good weather and great track time. There were some nice motors there too:

The Ring is just not as busy these days and i enjoyed 45 laps spread over 4 days in between sight-seeing and walking to various parts of the track.






Although feeling frustrated at first having decided to stick with PS2 boots on the car vice the usual Cup tyres (and having to remind myself of this as i pushed a little too much!), i soon found that i was able to work the PS2s to almost near the same times as i have managed previously on Cups - i even hassled a Ring Taxi into moving over and letting me pass having pestered him for the first half of a lap!

We visited the historic battlefield of Waterloo an its 'Lion Mound' on our way to Brussels for the return overnight stop:


Brussels - as enjoyable as our previous visit there


All in all, a superb week and the CSL took all in its stride as per usual - from long range transits, to daytrips, and being raped around the track!

Oh, and i spotted this Audi A4 in Germany...
