It is almost impossible to remove that screw without stripping the hex key slot. If you do, look here for replacement - see bottom of thread. http://www.cslregister.com/forum/showthread.php?t=13142 Also The trim has a slight lip that slots into the seat frame. I find the best way to take that trim off is to lift it into the seats first then twist the top part slightly to get it off the seat back portion where it sits just over the mechanism but not all the way, then pull down on the bottom to get the trim out of the bottom shell. It's very hard to describe but there is one particular angle that the trim will come out without scratching the seat coating. Just have a fiddle with it and have some thin hard cardboard around to slot in between the seat back. To prevent damage. Hope that helps! |
