I left the BMW network after 15 years for this reason, I remember there patter years ago telling us all they wanted to be in the same league as Rolex, M&S, John Lewis and Rolls Royce for customer service, they have clearly forgotten about these days !!!! It was bad when I got out in 2005 now you will get better service in a Ford main dealer.
QUOTE=shawn 968cs;175917]After reading this thread I feel lucky about my recent experiences, Its a bit worrying the way BMW feels like its going to me, I had to wait over 6 months for some trim on my CSL, no idea of delivery from BMW after chasing each month, then it just turned up out of the blue. I had problems with brakes sticking on my week old M3 F80, and had to push hard to get my money back, + no follow up from BMW UK and when I spoke to them basically couldn't give a Sh@~. My wife's X5 has bad corrosion on the wheels which is covered by warranty and they have been on order for over 3 months and again BMW have no idea when they will turn up. Which is a pain as want to change it soon. They are certainly leaving the door wide open for avid BMW fans to go to Merc' AMG's, certainly feels like BMW don't care to me. Very sad state of affairs, I never thought I would say it , but seriously starting to think about test driving a AMG merc's now. Rant over. Shawn[/quote] |
