9.5J / 265 and KW Clubsport?

I've just fitted a KW Clubsport kit to my car. On refitting my track wheels, (18x9.5 ET35 Apex EC-7s), I have wheel / coilover contact.

I was expecting this so had a 10mm spacer to hand, which I also fitted. (effectively giving me an ET25).

The question I have is, has anybody gone slimmer? I suspect a 5mm spacer would be a little tight but I am interested to know what others are using. Reading previous posts, I get the impression that the KW kit has a slightly larger spring collar...
