Thought I would share my findings with you all on here, as my policy is due for renewal next month

Male 45 years young with wife on policy
5+ NCD
4000 miles per annum
Garaged.
Tracker not required

Avivia - current insurers - quoted £424.00 with a £1050 excess. After telephone conversation, this dropped to £293.04 (why do they always do this - makes my piss boil that you don't get best price first time!!)

Competition Car Insurance - £551.90 (oh dear)

Classic car insurance £289.50 with £150 excess (yay!) 5000 miles PA. Legal cover and breakdown. Other benefits include agreed value

Never having had classic insurance before, it also looks like they don't use your NCD but will hold it to keep it valid, should you require it in the future.

Looks like my monies going on the last one.

Unless, anyone has any Caveats or tips
