Thats comforting to know then, so not unique to mine. As you said, ease off for about 20 ~ 30 secs and it dropped fast .. weird.
It has gone into limp mode though, and management light on,happened halfway home in Belgium.
Only BMW would come up with a car that does 90 mph in limp mode !

Going into Elms tomorrow for yet another Broom head ... or is it a handle ??

Brake pressure sensor appears to be playing up too.
