striker catch corrosion
Has anybody managed to get this done out of body warranty ie good will? Just noticed mine corroding behind the covers obviously been going on for a couple of years but with it being behind the cover hadn't noticed it. Think a few cars have had this problem in the past so surely they should contribute something towards it. The car has done 53,000 and has comprehensive warranty on it. (fuckin wankers)

If your car is registered in 2003 you're now beyond the 6 year bodywork warranty so would depend on goodwill. 2004 registered cars benefit from a 10 year bodywork warranty...
I had mine done last year, but mines 2004.

Mine's an '04 and I had mine done 2 years ago under the Paint Warranty, but I thought it was 12 years. My Mirror isn't looking too healthy at the minute and I'm looking for a time to head in with a couple of other tiny spots, one under the trim piece on the rear 1/4 forward of the wheel. Doubt I'll get either to be honest. |
