Lap Time Apps
Hi,
This looks interesting. Guy from Sweden posted about it as they use a lot. Would infringe UK Track Day rules but OK for abroad like on the Ring, Spa, Zolder etc. http://web.me.com/hschlangmann/LapTi...page/Home.html Regards, The Gorilla. |

You will need the tom tom car kit to let it work properly .
The iphone GPS alone is not good enough . I have used it and if it works it is fine but sometimes it just stops working (if you recieve a call or a text) .

I think it has problems acquiring a GPS lock through my Climate Comfort windscreen. I gave up in the end!

I agree, it is the low hz if the iPhone GpS that makes this usable IMHO.

I am using racechrono with a 10HZ gps receiver and also with my OBD key (it also logs the engine data).
Simply perfect, it also exports to vbox format and you can see the laps in the racelogic circuit tools http://racechrono.com/ |
