bryce86 we go Belfast - Stranraer then Hull - Rotterdam, so you could join the convoy on the A75. I think its approx 400 miles shorter for us plus you get a few hours sleep on the Hull - Rotterdam crossing & the craic is usually good to.

I like your car with the spacers, looks mint. I was reading your post about the geometry set up to, I would suggest going to someone who can do the job right even if that means a bit of an excursion, always worth the extra effort. Just my 2p’s worth.

If I am on the same trip, you can join us NE lads as we get the ferry from Newcastle to Amsterdam!

That sounds more like it - is a fair trek to Dover! Im only 75 miles from Stranraer.

Thank you, Im chuffed with the results. Its going to another local dealer next week to get the geo - theyve got good kit and the lads know what theyre doing. Costing £115 but it'll be worth it.

ps. you didnt happen to be nr Dumfries during the summer? Seen two CSLs chasing an Evo once, and have seen an Irish-un with WJZ plate.

Just had a look @ this route, saves us another 200 miles round vs Hull. Any reason why you dont go this way J13NY S?

2 CSLs & a white EVO 5, ya that probably would have been myself, donkcsl & a friend of ours on the way back from The Ring. We usually don’t hang about on the A75... even if we’re on time for the ferry! One of my favourite roads, use to love driving it at night. Not sure who WJZ is tho.

We haven’t used the Newcastle – Amsterdam crossing before but I’m sure it’s worth us taken a look, the P&O from Hull seems very popular tho.

Wife for me...don't think I would get away with a trip to Europe and the ring without the other half coming along...especially as she is a petrol head as well.

Brilliant. Is was on the 'Glen' (climbing lane / dual) that we seen ya's, giving it some hefty up over I figured it'd be some lads returning from the Ring.

75s an awesome road if you can keep up with them mad wagon drivers!

Whats the ferry costs for Hull or Newcastle route? Ive just had a quote of £230ish and £300ish respectively (car+driver+passenger). Fri - Mon in June.

Ya quote sounds about right, then we have an extra crossing which is rather expensive at the moment makes the Hull crossing seem outstanding value.

The lorry drivers don’t hang around on the 75 either, remember following them early one morning… wasn’t long before we were on the M6.
