At every opportunity mate. Only left on if very wet/slippery on the road and only M-track on track/Ring for warm up laps. Too intrusive otherwise.

i would only have the dsc left on in wet/slippery conditions if i was travelling at speed and couldn't be bothered to concentrate. |

hmmm well thanks for the replys guys, some amusing ones to make me chuckle, but then I didn't expect anything less
Basically, nobody has been able to directly answer my question with regard to the difference in DSC intervention before and after coilovers, BUT I have been able to concur that either: I should stop driving like a pussy and turn DSC off Or You lot are a bunch of un-hinged lunatics with to much money to bother worrying about destroying your CSL's! Wont bother asking for a show of hands! |

Actually when I say all, I would like to exclude Dan ^ as he seems to have a more cautious view like myself and also appears to be baffled by the fact this crazy driving is all on CUPS

Dan yes, 95% of the time on Cups. The only way it should be.

I picked that up quite quickly... If I had a pound for every thread that contained either of the two comments below, I could have brought a CSL by now!

some people are of the opinion that the oem suspension is best, others aftermarket suspension. i'm of the opinion that for everyday road use oem is the best compromise, and for track work you need aftermarket to be as fast as you can. whether the dsc intervenes more before or after coilovers is irrelevant. i personally didn't find a difference, probably cos it was always switched off! |
